Tottenham-Court Music-Room [electronic resource] : By His Majesty's Command, On the six Fridays in Lent will be performed, the six under-mentioned oratorios of Handel, Under the same Regulations, and under the Management of the Same Directors as the Concert of Antient Music. The Messiah, Samson, Saul, Israel in Egypt, Joshua, Jephtha. The Principal Vocal Performers in the Oratorios will be, Madame Mara, Miss Cantelo, Miss Harwood, the Miss Abrams, Mr. Harrison, Signor Tasca, &c. &c. &c. Those who are willing to encourage this Undertaking, are desired to send their Names to Messrs. Longman and Broderip's, who will deliver the Subscribers' Tickets, for the Six Oratorios, in due Time; at Three Guineas for the Six Tickets. N. B. Subscriptions will be taken at the Room, (on the Nights of the Concert of Antient Music) by Mr. Lee. When the Names of as many Persons as will fill the Room are sent in, the Subscription will be closed.
