"To balderdash his old Falernian".

A satire on the wine-selling firm of Brooke and Hellier.

Following "poem:" in the title is an epigram from Martial and its English translation; this is intended apparently as an introduction to the poem on p.2, 'Great news from Oporto', which begins "I sing of jolly Bacchus, and the wine".

Reproduction of original from Harvard University Houghton Library.
