The parish officer's companion [electronic resource] : or, a new and complete library of parish law: containing the whole duty of churchwardens, overseers, Constables, Headboroughs, Tithingmen, Surveyors of the Highways, and other subordinate officers in parochial matters: including, all the laws now in force, whether Acts of Parliament, or Cases adjudged in the different Courts of Westminster, at the Assizes, or Sessions, respecting Parish Business, pointing out the particular Duty of each Parish Officer, and enabling him to acquit himself with Ability and Reputation.
